About the role
This is a 12-month Nurse Residency Program designed for new graduates with less than 6 months of RN experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care under supervision, utilizing evidence-based practices and the nursing process.
- Engage in interdisciplinary teamwork, effective communication, and documentation to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in performance improvement activities and professional development.
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor to others.
- Support evidence-based practice, research, and compliance with healthcare standards, policies, and regulations.
- Collaborate on protocol development and resource management to enhance care delivery.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) with required certifications such as BLS.
- Less than one year of RN experience required.
