The RN Clinical Nurse collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized, safe, and high-quality patient care. They practice based on evidence, adhere to professional standards, and support system policies to promote excellence and patient advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and evidence-based practices.
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, respecting cultural and individual differences.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making.
• Coordinate safe, quality care delivery and documentation across care teams, fostering collaboration and respectful work environments.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice activities to enhance patient outcomes.
• Support resource efficiency and contribute to protocol development for optimal care practices.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Active RN license (single or multi-state), BLS certification, and BLS instructor or provisional certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ clinical nursing experience, with direct patient care preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, collaboration, and commitment to professional development.
