About the role
A Clinical Manager, Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:
Responsibilities
- Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
- Documents patient care given.
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Makes rounds to monitor patient condition and communicates with the care team, physician, patient, and family as necessary.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluates learning needs of patients and/or families and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Requirements
- State of Michigan RN license.
- Associate degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's degree preferred).
- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP).
- Two (2) years nursing experience.
- Seven (7) years managerial experience (preferred).
Qualifications
- Experience managing a 54-bed acute Medical and Surgical unit.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with frequent admissions and discharges.
- Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Experience in patient education and advocacy.
Skills
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Proficiency in computer systems used for patient care documentation.

Pay
$10,000 Sign-on Bonus Available *Based on meeting eligibility requirements.
