About the role
Responsible for the daily operations of a Med/Surg Unit, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care aligned with current standards.
Responsibilities
- Allocate resources and promote evidence-based practice.
- Support decision-making through clinical, human resource, and financial data.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
- Advocate for quality patient care and foster a positive work environment.
Requirements
- BSN or equivalent required; Master’s Degree preferred.
- Current RN licensure in North Carolina.
- National certification in specialty area within one year of hire.
- Minimum of five years’ recent nursing experience, including two years of clinical hospital leadership.
- BLS certification required.
Skills & Experience

- Commitment to evidence-based practice.
- Previous leadership experience preferred.
