Registered Nurse (RN) - Long Term Care (Part-time Night Shift)

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate part-time night shift Registered Nurse to provide quality care in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

  • Administer prescribed medical treatments and personal care to residents.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care using the nursing process to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Perform comprehensive admission assessments and coordinate care plans.
  • Gather, analyze, and document resident data across physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and educational domains.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation reflecting the care plan and resident progress.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet resident needs and promote safety.
  • Develop individualized care plans involving residents and families, and provide education based on assessed needs.
  • Supervise healthcare team members per regulations and assist in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to social work/discharge planning and provide information on available services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support resident well-being.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited RN program.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the relevant state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
