About the role
We are seeking a compassionate part-time night shift Registered Nurse to provide quality care in a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medical treatments and personal care to residents.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care using the nursing process to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Perform comprehensive admission assessments and coordinate care plans.
- Gather, analyze, and document resident data across physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and educational domains.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate documentation reflecting the care plan and resident progress.
- Collaborate with team members to meet resident needs and promote safety.
- Develop individualized care plans involving residents and families, and provide education based on assessed needs.
- Supervise healthcare team members per regulations and assist in quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to social work/discharge planning and provide information on available services.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support resident well-being.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited RN program.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the relevant state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
