About the role
We are seeking a caring part-time night shift Registered Nurse to join our Long-Term Care team.
Responsibilities
- Providing prescribed medical treatment and personal care to residents
- Assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating resident care using the nursing process
- Conducting comprehensive admission assessments and full body system analysis
- Collecting, evaluating, and documenting resident data across physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and educational needs
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, physicians, and healthcare team members
- Developing and maintaining accurate care plans and promoting resident safety
- Providing education to residents, families, and staff based on assessed needs
- Supervising healthcare team members and assisting in quality improvement initiatives
- Participating in discharge planning, resource allocation, and informing residents about services
- Performing other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited RN program
- RN license in Nebraska
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
