About the role

Responsibilities

  • Utilize specialized plan-of-care intervention and serve as a patient-care innovator.
  • Shape exceptional patient journeys and leverage cutting-edge technology to impact patient wellbeing.
  • Provide off-hour leadership, assist staff with problem-solving, and manage patient care.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing and support staff, determine staffing levels, and ensure staff has necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Evaluate patient care effectiveness and identify issues affecting desired outcomes.
  • Respond to complaints about patient care and manage through established channels.
  • Perform role-specific duties, including entering orders, performing admissions or discharges, and coordinating transfers.
  • Ensure staff has necessary equipment and supplies for safe, quality patient care.
  • Integrate evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
  • Create and foster an environment that encourages professional growth.
  • Initiate weekend case management, utilization review screening, assist with discharge planning, and swing intake.

Requirements

  • Current state RN license
  • Bachelor's degree or associate degree from an accredited nursing school
  • 2-3 years of Inpatient Behavioral Health RN experience
  • 1 year of relevant supervisory experience (preferred)
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
  • Able to quickly learn and navigate multiple complex software systems
  • Able to communicate effectively in English

  • BLS required

Pay

The wage scale for this position is $46.93 - $65.70 per hour. Schedule

This position offers 40 hours a week, with shifts ranging from 4x10s to 5x8s, and operates on a night shift schedule, including weekends.
