Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor
About the role
A House Supervisor - Non-Exempt position at our hospital is responsible for overseeing the clinical care provided to patients from Neonatal to Geriatric. This role requires a Registered Nurse (RN) with a current state license and an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional qualifications include Basic Life Support certification, ACLS and PALS, and ASLS certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
- Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
- Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
- Completes and revises the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
- Performs timely and accurate Quality Improvement (QI) assessments
Requirements
Applicants must have a current state RN license and an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include Basic Life Support certification, ACLS and PALS, and ASLS certification preferred. One year of experience is preferred.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Experience in a hospital setting is highly desirable.
