Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor
About the role
The House Nursing Supervisor at Harris Regional Hospital is responsible for coordinating patient placement and working closely with various departments to ensure quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
- Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
- Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
- Completes and revises the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
- Performs timely and accurate Quality Improvement (QI) assessments
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of North Carolina or from a compact state
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing is preferred
- A minimum of two (4) years experience acute care nursing practice with sufficient clinical and management experience
- Licensure/Life Safety: Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of North Carolina
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS must be current upon acceptance of position
- AHA ACLS certification or within 1 year of hire and maintain thereafter
- AHA PALS certification or within 1 year of hire and maintain thereafter
Qualifications
Education: Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing is preferred.
Skills
Strong communication and leadership skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and proficiency in computer systems.

Schedule
Full-Time, Nights. Holidays and Weekends Required.
