Registered Nurse (RN) - Float Pool - 36 hours, night shifts

About the role

As an RN in the Float Pool at Beverly Hospital, you will float to areas where extra coverage is needed to care for med/surg inpatients.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments, observes patients progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness
• Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient
• Support and educate patients and their loved ones to achieve maximum outcomes

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Candidates must have 2-3 years of acute Med/Surg experience or at least 1+ years of critical care experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• ACLS preferred

Schedule

• 36 hours per week, nights shift (12-hour shifts)
• Every Fourth Weekend required
• Every other holiday required

Pay

Great Float Pool Differentials! Pay range $36.00 - $79.12. This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement; compensation is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
