About the role
Experienced Registered Nurse (RN) in a hospital's Float Pool on night shifts, supporting various departments across multiple specialty units.
Responsibilities
- Apply the nursing process to deliver patient and family-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collect, verify, and organize patient health information to support clinical decisions.
- Provide direct patient care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and maintain accurate documentation per hospital standards.
- Support multiple specialty areas, including Behavioral Health, Clinical Decision Unit, ICU, and Women’s & Children’s Services, adapting quickly to changing needs.
Requirements
- Active Montana RN license and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum of two years of acute care RN experience.
- Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and ability to manage responsibilities independently.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification within 6 months.
- Med/Surg or Geriatric Nursing certification preferred.
