Registered Nurse (RN) - Float Pool - Night Shift

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care across diverse inpatient units within a leading academic medical center. Responsibilities

• Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team and families.
• Educating patients and families on illness management, medication, and post-discharge care.
• Participating in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, ensuring communication across care settings.
• Using clinical judgment to address physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.

Qualifications

Current RN license with a Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree. Minimum of 2 years recent acute care Medical-Surgical experience; ICU experience preferred. Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, communication skills, and ability to work independently. Preferred candidates may hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and have float pool or critical care experience.
