Role Overview
Provides comprehensive nursing care by developing and implementing individualized care plans, supporting patients physically, emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually. Collaborates with healthcare teams, reviews physician prescriptions, and communicates effectively to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops nursing diagnoses, care objectives, and interventions based on patient assessments.
- Coordinates with healthcare providers and educates patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care.
- Monitors patient progress, re-evaluates care plans, and modifies interventions as needed.
- Maintains a safe and secure environment by adhering to infection control, medication, and safety protocols.
- Documents patient care accurately and maintains equipment and supplies for optimal care delivery.
- Performs duties independently while demonstrating proficiency across multiple departments.
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
- Effective communication skills and visual acuity to perform job functions.
- Preferred 1-3 years of clinical experience.
