Role Overview
This position requires leading high-acuity patient care on Intermediate and Med/Surg units, utilizing specialized training in progressive care to support complex patients. You will coordinate treatment across clinical disciplines, ensuring seamless recovery plans and maintaining patient safety through vigilant monitoring and precise documentation. The role involves adapting to hospital needs by providing expert nursing support for high-acuity cases.
Responsibilities
- Leading patient care and stabilization efforts for complex cases
- Serving as a central contact for multidisciplinary teams
- Ensuring safety and quality through careful monitoring and documentation
- Responding to evolving clinical demands with expert support
Qualifications And Skills
- Registered Nurse license from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or valid multi-state/Compact licensure
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred
- Minimum three years of nursing experience, with med/surg and progressive care training preferred
