Registered Nurse responsible for providing high-acuity patient care on Med/Surg and Intermediate units, utilizing specialized training in progressive care to stabilize and support complex patients. Acts as the central coordinator among clinical disciplines to ensure seamless, high-quality recovery plans, while monitoring patient safety and documenting care accurately. Adapts to hospital needs by offering expert nursing support in high-acuity situations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate patient care across units
- Serve as primary contact for clinical teams
- Monitor clinical conditions and advocate for safety
- Respond flexibly to evolving patient needs
Requirements
- Active RN licensure in Wisconsin or valid multi-state license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days
- Preferred Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience; med/surg and progressive care training preferred
