Registered Nurse ( RN ) – Med Surg Float

Employment Type: Part-time and Full-Time

Schedule

• Combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
• 72/48 hours per pay period (up to 60 hours available)
• Shift Options:
  • Day: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Mid: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
  • Night: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Late Night: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekend and no-weekend options available
• Holidays: Scheduled in accordance with the CBA

Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic, patient-centered care by assessing health data, creating individualized care plans, and evaluating outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based, personalized care.
• Support all aspects of the patient experience, making a meaningful impact on every patient’s journey.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Michigan RN license.
• 1 year experience in a Med Surg area preferred.
• BLS certifications required.
• Commitment to Trinity Health’s mission, vision, and values.
• Familiarity with hospital and department policies and procedures, including accepted methods for requisitioning ancillary services and working with medical staff (typically acquired during 1–3 months of orientation).
• Maintain current nursing knowledge, BLS certification, and required CEUs for licensure.
• Demonstrate and articulate commitment to the philosophy, values, mission, and vision of Trinity Health Muskegon.
