About the role
The RN Clinical Educator, Ancillary Services supports the professional growth, development, and competency validation of staff in various ancillary services including Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, Radiology services, Rehabilitation Services, and Respiratory Services.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a liaison between Clinical Education and ancillary department leadership to ensure regulatory readiness, evidence-based practice integration, technology adoption, and alignment with organizational quality and safety priorities.
- Plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates clinical education programs, onboarding processes, ongoing competency validation, and performance improvement initiatives for procedural and diagnostic ancillary services.
Requirements
- Required: Current California RN License, BSN Degree, ACLS, PALS certification from the American Heart Association, LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment, 3 years of Critical Care experience, 3 years clinical experience in an acute care setting, evidence of continuing education and self-development, demonstrated teaching ability in formal and informal settings.
- Preferred: ACLS Instructor, Invasive and noninvasive Radiology procedure experience, Cath lab experience, M.S.N. Degree, Certification in nursing specialty.
Qualifications
Refined written and verbal communication, clinical competence, customer service and conflict resolution skills, computer skills, familiarity with teaching methods and audiovisual equipment, ability to operate independently.
