Position Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator, Cardiology, is responsible for managing a clinic unit, coordinating staff scheduling, and acting as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality patient care, supervise and delegate tasks to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Assist with staff training, orientation, and annual competency assessments. Manage day-to-day staffing, address customer service issues, and implement departmental improvements. Skills & Qualifications: Effective communication, decision-making in high-pressure situations, and change management skills required. Must hold an accredited nursing degree, current RN license in the state, and relevant certifications such as CPR and ACLS. Two years of clinical nursing experience, with specialized experience in cardiology or neonatal care preferred. Additional Requirements: Ability to manage departmental budget, participate in staff development, and ensure quality patient care while maintaining professional conduct. Certifications in specialty areas are advantageous.
