About the Role
Coordinates departmental functions within a clinic unit, overseeing scheduling, staff training, and patient care standards.
Responsibilities
- Acts as liaison to internal and external customers
- Develops and implements compliance plans
- Supervises and delegates patient care to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
- Manages daily staffing and operational activities
- Ensures staff orientation and competency completion
- Monitors customer service performance
- Provides direct patient care
- Evaluates care effectiveness
- Supports staff development
Requirements
- Nursing degree
- Current RN license
- Relevant clinical experience, including neonatal or specialty training
- Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, and specialty certifications (preferred)
- Effective communication and decision-making in high-stress situations
- Ability to implement change and manage budgets
- Management experience (advantageous)
- Additional certifications (advantageous)
