Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator in the Emergency Department (ED).
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care while assuming a leadership role in unit operations.
- Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure quality patient care, optimize patient flow, staffing, and resource utilization.
- Support staff in applying the nursing process for patients with complex needs and monitor performance standards.
- Identify educational needs and work collaboratively with the Professional Practice Department.
- Address clinical and customer service needs, developing long-term solutions.
- Promote effective communication among team members and other departments.
- Coordinate staffing assignments on each shift to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care.
- Perform related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- 3-5 years of Emergency Department nursing experience.
- Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
