Responsibilities
- Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Coordinate care through effective partnerships
- Practice evidence-based standards
- Promote relationship-based, culturally sensitive care
- Ensure documentation accuracy
- Support performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives
- Mentor and serve as a preceptor for staff and students
- Develop protocols and participate in quality initiatives
- Uphold organizational policies and standards
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience
- Associates or Diploma Nursing degree (Bachelor's preferred)
- Valid RN license (single state or multi-state compact)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required upon hire
- Strong teamwork, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Commitment to professional development and patient safety
