Role: Operating Room Nurse responsible for delivering high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities Perform nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practices.Provide relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to patient needs.Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and goal setting.Coordinate and document safe, quality care, promoting teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration.Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance activities.Support professional development by mentoring, serving as preceptor, and completing competency assessments.Promote evidence-based practice, adhere to policies, and participate in protocol development.Plan proactively for patient care across the continuum, ensuring efficient resource use. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 5 years direct patient care nursing experience.Associates, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Nursing degree (Bachelor’s preferred).RN license (single state or multi-state compact).BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required upon hire.Strong clinical, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills. Additional Info: Must uphold standards per the Georgia Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code of Ethics, and organizational policies.
