About the role

Operating Room Nurse responsible for providing high-quality, safe patient care in a perioperative setting.

Responsibilities

• Performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices.
• Delivering patient-centered care tailored to individual needs and cultural diversity.
• Partnering with patients and families through effective communication and education.
• Coordinating safe, quality care within an interdisciplinary team; documenting care accurately.
• Supporting performance improvement activities, research, and evidence-based practice.
• Participating in protocol development, resource management, and professional development.
• Serving as a preceptor or mentor to foster a qualified workforce.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum five years of direct patient care nursing experience.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) with valid certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing standards, ethical practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills.
