About the Role

Responsibilities
- Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and ensuring care is tailored to each patient.
- Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care that respects cultural diversity and involves patients and families in care planning.
- Coordinate and document safe, quality care through effective communication and teamwork, supporting performance improvement initiatives.
- Engage in professional development, serve as a mentor or preceptor, and promote evidence-based practice and research to enhance patient outcomes.
- Contribute to resource planning, protocol development, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
- Active RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and Basic Life Support certification.
- Less than one year of clinical experience required; prior direct patient care experience preferred.
