About the Role

A vital member of an interdisciplinary care team, responsible for providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practice and critical thinking.
• Deliver relationship-based, culturally competent care tailored to patient-specific characteristics.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and goal setting.
• Coordinate and document safe, efficient care while promoting teamwork and collaboration.
• Engage in performance improvement, research activities, and shared governance to enhance care quality.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor, supporting professional development and fostering a healthy work environment.
• Participate in evidence-based practice, policy adherence, and data collection to improve patient outcomes.
• Support resource management and protocol development to optimize care delivery.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Nursing degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Valid RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Proficient in technology with basic computer skills.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments, respond to emergencies, and demonstrate critical thinking and time management skills.
