Registered Nurse (RN)-Acute Care, Rapid Assessment Unit, Full Time, Nights

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs
• Develop and implement nursing care plans
• Provide direct patient care including medication administration, monitoring vital signs, and performing basic diagnostic tests
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina
• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam
• One year of relevant clinical experience preferred

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Skills

• Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology
• Understanding of hospital policies and procedures
• Experience with electronic health records (EHRs)
