Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care - MedSurg Oncology - Full Time Night

About the role

The RN Clinical Nurse is a vital member of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care in a specialized oncology unit.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes using evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, communicate with patients and families, and support performance improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster professional growth and uphold organizational policies, standards, and ethical practices.
• Promote research and evidence-based practice, participate in protocol development, and ensure resource efficiency.
• Deliver relationship-based, culturally competent care and coordinate interdisciplinary communication.
• Contribute to quality improvement and support organizational safety and performance goals.
• Uphold the nursing code of ethics and professional standards in all aspects of practice.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of RN experience with direct patient care preferred.
• Current RN licensure (single or multi-state).
• BLS certification.
• Relevant educational credentials.
