About the role
Registered Nurse (RN) on a Medsurg Oncology Unit, providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care for adult cancer patients requiring inpatient treatments.
Responsibilities
- Perform nursing assessments, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Deliver relationship-based care tailored to patient demographics and cultural needs
- Document care accurately
- Participate in performance improvement and research activities
- Support resource management and protocol development
- Serve as preceptor or mentor to team members
- Uphold organizational policies and standards, including legal and accreditation requirements
Qualifications
- Active RN license (single state or multi-state compact)
- BLS certification
- Less than 1 year of clinical experience preferred
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
