Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care - MedSurg Oncology - Full-Time Night

About the Role

Provide high-quality, safe, patient-centered care in a clinical environment, utilizing evidence-based practices and the nursing process. The unit specializes in inpatient adult cancer care, including hospice and telemetry services. Candidates must demonstrate a dedication to compassionate, excellence-driven nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, document accurately, and support performance improvement initiatives.
• Partner with patients and families through education and open communication, ensuring care is culturally sensitive and aligned with patient goals.
• Support professional development by serving as a preceptor or mentor.
• Participate in research and quality initiatives.
• Uphold organizational policies and standards.
• Proactively plan patient care across the continuum.
• Contribute to protocol development and promote resource efficiency.

Requirements

• Active RN license (single state or multi-state compact).
• BLS certification.
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Less than 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, communication, and commitment to evidence-based practice.

Schedule

Night shift, full-time role.
