About the role

KeystoneCare is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Registered Nurse - Quality Assurance, Home Health and Hospice services. This role involves leading quality assurance initiatives, developing educational programs, and enhancing nursing staff skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver educational programs for nursing staff in home health and hospice care, focusing on best practices and compliance
• Implement and oversee quality assurance measures, conducting audits and performance reviews to enhance patient outcomes
• Evaluate and analyze data to identify trends and areas needing improvement
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and policies
• Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing staff, fostering professional development and skills enhancement
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights regarding education and quality management
• Facilitate orientation and ongoing training sessions for new hires

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
• Master's degree in Nursing or Education; BSN required
• Minimum of 3-5 years clinical nursing experience in home health, hospice, or related field
• Experience in nursing education or quality assurance preferred
• Strong leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in home health and hospice care
• Ability to analyze data and implement quality improvement initiatives
• CPR certification required
• Driver's License and Car Insurance in good standing
• Possesses the ability to follow oral and written instructions
