About the role
KeystoneCare is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Registered Nurse - Quality Assurance, Home Health and Hospice services.
Responsibilities
- Create and deliver educational programs for nursing staff in home health and hospice care, focusing on best practices and compliance.
- Implement and oversee quality assurance measures, conducting audits and performance reviews to enhance patient outcomes.
- Evaluate and analyze data to identify trends and areas needing improvement.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and policies.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing staff, fostering professional development and skills enhancement.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights regarding education and quality management.
- Facilitate orientation and ongoing training sessions for new hires.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Master's degree in Nursing or Education; BSN required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years clinical nursing experience in home health, hospice, or related field.
- Experience in nursing education or quality assurance preferred.
- Strong leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in home health and hospice care.
- Ability to analyze data and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- CPR certification required.
- Driver's License and Car Insurance in good standing.
- Possesses the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
