Registered Nurse - Home Care and Hospice
The Opportunity
Saint Luke’s Home Care and Hospice is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join their team. This position involves taking overnight and weekend call, making hospice and home care visits in the Kansas City metropolitan area. It is part of the Seven-On/Seven-Off alternative staffing plan, offering excellent work-life balance and flexibility.
Shift
Employees will be scheduled to work seven consecutive days. They will be on-call from 5:00 pm through 8:00 am Monday through Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday. During these times, they will make hospice visits while on call and assist with home care and hospice visits on weekends. They will then be off for the following seven days, providing 26 weeks of time off per year with the option to pick up extra visits during their off weeks if desired.
Job Requirements
- Active Missouri and Kansas RN License
- Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Driver's License - Various
- Associate Degree
