About the Role
Seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care on a 24-bed post-operative bariatric unit specializing in weight loss surgeries such as Gastric Bypass and Sleeve Gastrectomy.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered nursing care according to established policies and protocols
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions accurately
- Serve as a primary coordinator among healthcare team members
- Implement and monitor care plans
- Execute physician and nursing orders
- Assess discharge needs and collaborate on care transitions
Requirements
- Current RN licensure or eligibility in Alabama
- BLS certification obtained within 30 days of hire
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program
Schedule
