About the Role

Seeking a Nursing Leader for a 24-bed Post-Operative Bariatric unit specializing in weight loss surgeries such as Gastric Bypass and Sleeve Gastrectomy. The role involves coordinating staffing, providing clinical leadership, and ensuring quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing/support staff during shifts.
• Assess patient care needs and develop appropriate care assignments.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and address issues impacting care quality.
• Respond to patient care concerns and manage through established channels.
• Contribute to hiring, training, and staff evaluation processes.

Requirements

• Current RN license in Alabama.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire; ACLS and PALS may be required within 6 months.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
