Registered Nurse - Post Surgical

Position Overview: Leads a 24-bed post-operative bariatric unit specializing in weight loss surgeries such as Gastric Bypass and Sleeve Gastrectomy. Responsibilities: Coordinate staffing, provide leadership, and ensure delivery of quality patient care. Assign, educate, and monitor nursing/support staff, evaluate patient outcomes, and address care concerns. Assist in hiring, training, and staff development. Qualifications: Valid RN license in Alabama, BLS certification within 30 days, and at least one year of relevant experience. ACLS and PALS may be required within six months, depending on the unit.
