Responsibilities
- Assesses patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
- Develops and implements patient care plans collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administers therapeutic and diagnostic interventions such as IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
- Advocates for and protects the health, safety, and rights of each patient.
- Provides patient and family education based on assessment of learning readiness, needs, and ability.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of teaching methods used.
- Encourages patient engagement in healthcare through various techniques like motivational interviewing, self-management protocols, and teach-back methodology.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing [Preferred]
- Registered Nurse (RN) license [Required]
- Basic Life Support - CPR certification (BLS) [Required]
Qualifications
- 1+ years of medical office experience [Preferred]
