Registered Nurse - Outpatient Dialysis

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing personalized dialysis care by utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. They coordinate patient care, perform assessments, deliver patient education, and implement various nursing interventions. The RN collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to plan, execute, and evaluate dialysis treatments. Practicing within the full scope of nursing standards, they document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care in compliance with regulatory requirements. They leverage technology to enhance patient outcomes, delegate tasks to unlicensed personnel, and maintain overall accountability for patient care. Qualifications include a graduate from an accredited nursing program, an unencumbered RN license in the practicing state, and maintenance of required certifications. A bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred. Key skills involve strong clinical knowledge, teamwork, communication, and adherence to ethical standards outlined by the American Nurses Association.
