Registered Nurse - Outpatient Dialysis

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing personalized dialysis care by utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care
• Perform assessments
• Deliver patient education
• Implement various nursing interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to plan, execute, and evaluate dialysis treatments
• Practice within the full scope of nursing standards, documenting patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Leverage technology to enhance patient outcomes
• Delegate tasks to unlicensed personnel
• Maintain overall accountability for patient care

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Unencumbered RN license in the practicing state
• Maintenance of required certifications
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred)
