Registered Nurse - Outpatient Dialysis

About the role

This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in outpatient dialysis settings, primarily at Eisenberg. You will coordinate care within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Practice Model, support professional practice, delegate tasks appropriately, and participate in quality improvement and leadership activities.

The position is part-time, nonexempt, and suitable for new graduates via the Nurse Residency Program. You may be required to drive as part of your role duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in outpatient dialysis settings
• Deliver patient education and support care transitions
• Coordinate care within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Practice Model
• Delegate tasks appropriately and support professional nursing practice
• Participate in quality improvement and leadership activities
• Mentor colleagues and participate in committees
• Demonstrate adaptability to meet patient needs across multiple locations

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• At least one year of RN experience (new graduates may apply via the Nurse Residency Program)
• Experience working in team environments
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills
• Demonstrated leadership, adaptability, and effective communication
