Registered Nurse - Outpatient Dialysis

About the Role

A registered nurse in the Outpatient Dialysis unit, primarily based at Eisenberg but floating to satellite locations, responsible for coordinating patient care, education, and care transitions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support professional nursing practices.
• Plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate nursing care within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Practice Model.
• Lead through roles such as preceptor, committee participation, and quality improvement efforts.
• Delegate patient care based on skill, acuity, and resources.
• Mentor, teach, and communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Possibly drive a personal vehicle for work-related travel.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• At least one year of RN experience; LPN experience may be considered.
• Current RN license and BLS certification.
• Ability to obtain necessary state licenses.
• Eligible for TN sponsorship.

Skills

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
• Computer proficiency; experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
