About the Role

Lead the recovery journey for orthopedic patients by implementing specialized care plans that prioritize pain management, wound integrity, and the return of safe mobility. Champion the multidisciplinary approach by coordinating with surgeons, physical therapists, and specialists to ensure every treatment aligns with the patient's long-term functional goals. Monitor patient progress with high clinical intuition, identifying subtle changes in condition to ensure a safe, complication-free recovery from surgery. Empower patients and their support systems through expert education and discharge planning, providing the confidence and tools needed for a successful transition back to daily life.

Location & Schedule

  • Location: Anderson, IN
  • Facility: Ascension St. Vincent Anderson
  • Department/Specialty: Ortho, 3 South
  • Schedule: Nights, Part Time, 6:00pm-6:30am
  • Every third weekend and every other holiday rotation

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.
