About the role
Provide high-quality nursing care in an acute or ambulatory setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across all age groups
- Assist with patient assessments, treatments, and procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
- Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols
- Document patient information accurately
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Current NYS RN license
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care
- Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC are advantageous
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and adaptability skills
Work environment
- Work in office and patient care areas, involving walking, standing, and lifting
- Fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Use of PPE and exposure to disinfectants
- Access to non-restricted patient information (Level 3 HIPAA access)
