About the Role

Join Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, MD, as a full-time Registered Nurse in the Med Surg Ortho department. This role offers a day-shift schedule (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) with weekend and holiday rotations, along with a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate bedside care in alignment with organizational standards to ensure high-quality patient safety and recovery.
  • Track and communicate patient progress dynamically across shifts to keep care teams and families informed.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary care teams to streamline treatments and create a unified, supportive patient experience.
  • Execute physician and nursing directives promptly and accurately to maintain seamless care delivery.
  • Drive discharge planning early alongside the healthcare team to ensure safe transitions home or to next-level care.

Requirements

  • Certified BLS Provider (Health Service Provider) credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. OR military CPR-First Aid training.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition ("Compact State") obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing at date of hire required.
