About the Role
The registered nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring professionalism, patient rights, and confidentiality. They evaluate care effectiveness, coordinate with other departments, and maintain standards aligned with the organization’s mission and values.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assess patient needs
- Evaluate and improve care quality provided by team members
- Coordinate patient care across departments
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
- Perform duties consistent with organizational standards and values
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN licensure in the relevant state or compact licensure
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, PALS, and others depending on the unit
- Maintain licensure, certifications, and meet physical demands of the role
