Position Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed healthcare professional responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. They utilize evidence-based practices, technology, and therapeutic interventions while coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient support. Key Responsibilities Assess: Evaluate patients' physical, social, and psychological status, gathering information from patients, families, and team members.Plan: Develop individualized care plans collaboratively, involving patients and families, and preparing for follow-up support and education.Implement: Direct and coordinate care through delegation, ensuring adherence to care guidelines, managing resources, and prioritizing patient needs.Evaluate: Monitor patient responses, outcomes, and satisfaction, adjusting care plans as necessary.Professionalism: Uphold legal and ethical standards, ensure accurate documentation, and promote the nursing profession. Qualifications & Skills Current RN license in the practice state; valid compact license transfer within 60 days.BSN required within four years if less than 12 months of experience.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Skills in patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, communication, critical thinking, and care coordination. Physical & Other Requirements Ability to see, read, communicate verbally, and manipulate equipment accurately.Capability to lift, transfer, and assist patients, navigate busy environments, and stand for extended periods.Driving responsibilities may be involved, requiring good vision and coordination.
