Registered Nurse - Night Shift

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed healthcare professional responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. They utilize evidence-based practices, technology, and therapeutic interventions while coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient support.

Responsibilities

• Assess: Evaluate patients' physical, social, and psychological status, gathering information from patients, families, and team members.
• Plan: Develop individualized care plans collaboratively, involving patients and families, and preparing for follow-up support and education.
• Implement: Direct and coordinate care through delegation, ensuring adherence to care guidelines, managing resources, and prioritizing patient needs.
• Evaluate: Monitor patient responses, outcomes, and satisfaction, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Professionalism: Uphold legal and ethical standards, ensure accurate documentation, and promote the nursing profession.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the practice state; valid compact license transfer within 60 days.
• BSN required within four years if less than 12 months of experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
