Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Position: Registered Nurse Location: LOH Main - Naperville Hours: Part-time, 20 hrs/week, Night shift (11pm-7am) Key Responsibilities Assess patient conditions, develop, implement, and evaluate care plans, and document care provided.Welcome patients, maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, and supervise direct care staff.Coordinate with the Resource and Referral Department for patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring clear communication.Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gather data and develop interdisciplinary treatment plans, incorporating medical issues.Participate in setting and achieving departmental goals, contribute to quality improvement, and support professional development.Assist in hiring and orienting staff, evaluate suggestions and criticisms, and participate in program evaluations.Attend training sessions, serve as a role model, explain policies to staff and patients, and engage with community groups about mental health.Supervise patient care as needed, working within budget constraints related to staffing and supplies. Qualifications Current Illinois RN license and CPR certification.CPR and CPI certifications required; CPI within 90 days of hire.Preferred: psychiatric experience, knowledge of abnormal psychology, and therapeutic systems understanding.Maintain confidentiality and possess a nursing degree.
