About the role
Join a specialized inpatient rehabilitation unit focusing on neuro trauma and spinal cord injuries.
Responsibilities
- Providing direct patient care for individuals with complex conditions such as SCI, stroke, and traumatic brain injuries.
- Managing ventilator/trach care, bowel and bladder retraining, wound prevention, and utilizing specialty treatments and technologies to promote functional recovery.
- Educating patients and families on rehabilitation processes.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including LPNs, PCNAs, providers, therapists, social workers, and dietitians.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure in Ohio.
- Basic Life Support certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Preferred: BSN and certification in Rehabilitation Nursing or related professional credentials.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills in ventilator and wound care.
- Ability to work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and rehabilitation education.
