About the role
This role is for a Registered Nurse (RN) working in a specialized inpatient rehabilitation unit focused on neuro trauma and spinal cord injuries.
Responsibilities
- providing patient-centered care for complex cases such as SCI, stroke, and brain injuries
- managing ventilator and trach care
- assisting with bowel and bladder retraining
- wound prevention and care
- utilizing specialty treatments and technology to promote functional regain
- delivering education to patients and families
- collaborating with LPNs, nursing assistants, providers, social workers, respiratory therapists, PT/OT, speech, art & music therapists, and dietitians
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN licensure in Ohio
- Basic Life Support certification (or obtained within 90 days)
- Preferred: BSN and certification in Rehabilitation Nursing
