About the role
This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a high-acuity inpatient rehabilitation unit focused on neuro trauma and spinal cord injuries. As an RN, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including LPNs, PCNAs, therapists, social workers, and physicians to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Managing ventilator and tracheostomy care
- SCI retraining (bowel & bladder management)
- Wound prevention
- Utilizing specialized treatments and technologies to promote patient recovery
Qualifications
- Nursing degree from an accredited program
- Current RN licensure in Ohio
- BLS certification
Preferred qualifications
- BSN
- Certifications in rehabilitation nursing or related fields
