Registered Nurse - Neuro Trauma Recovery Spine

About the Role

Provide specialized care for patients with spinal cord injuries in a Neuro Trauma Recovery Spinal Cord Injury Unit. Responsibilities include ventilator and trach care, bowel and bladder management, wound prevention, and rehabilitation therapies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as LPNs, PCNAs, providers, therapists, social workers, and dietitians to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care. Support patient and family education on recovery and functional regain.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex orthopedics, stroke, spinal cord, and traumatic brain injury cases in a 24-bed unit.
• Utilize advanced treatment technologies and rehabilitation techniques.
• Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in a recognized national model system.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and current Ohio RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification (or obtain within 90 days).
• Relevant RN experience required for PRN role; all certifications needed at hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN or certification in Rehabilitation Nursing recognized by the Magnet Association.
