Registered Nurse - Neuro Trauma Recovery Spine

About the Role

Join the Neuro Trauma Recovery Spinal Cord Injury Unit, a 24-bed unit dedicated to high-quality, patient-centered care for complex spinal cord injury cases. You will collaborate with LPNs, PCNAs, providers, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care for individuals with spinal cord injuries.
• Manage ventilator and trach care.
• Implement SCI retraining programs, such as bowel and bladder management.
• Prevent wounds and deliver specialized treatments to promote functional recovery.
• Provide education to patients and families about rehabilitation processes.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in Ohio.
• AHA BLS certification.
• For PRN roles, at least 1 year of relevant RN experience and required certifications.

Qualifications

• Preferred BSN degree.
• Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing or related professional credentials recognized by the Magnet designation.
